BIG STEM Safety provides a range of services to the education sector. As an experienced teacher and instructor I can bring my experience to your setting. 

Design and Technology Health and Safety Training by a fully qualified RDTHSC accredited by the Design and Technology Association.

BS4163:2021 states all staff involved in Design and Technology and related subjects should be trained and then refreshed at least every 5 years on all of the equipment you use. Training should be documented and you should complete in house training in the intervening years.

 

Additionally I can provide audits, equipment checks, coursework, exam support and consultancy for DT departments.

Design and Technology STEM assistance. Whether running STEM days, or assisting pupils with Arkwright Applications.  

As a serving teacher I have been involved in cross department STEM activities and have organised science weeks and can work with you to bring plans to fruition.

DofE Qualified Supervisor and Assessor for Bronze, Silver and Gold. I have been involved with DofE for over 25 years, run 2 successful DofE centres with enviable completion rates (75% + across all three sections) and can assist with training, assessment or how to  manage  a range of issues. 

RYA Accredited Instructor for Sailing and Powerboating. I am principal of an RYA training centre.
